ait: Si inveni gratiam in conspectu tuo, Domine, obsecro ut gradiaris nobiscum (populus enim duræ cervicis est) et auferas iniquitates nostras atque peccata, nosque possideas.
Y dijo: Si ahora, Señor, he hallado gracia en tus ojos, vaya ahora el Señor en medio de nosotros; porque este es pueblo de dura cerviz; y perdona nuestra iniquidad y nuestro pecado, y poséenos.
“ O Lord,” he said, “ if I have indeed found favor in Your sight, my Lord, please go with us. Although this is a stiff-necked people, forgive our iniquity and sin, and take us as Your inheritance.” The LORD Renews the Covenant (2 Corinthians 3:7–18)
