וְהָיְתָה לָכֶם לְחֻקַּת עוֹלָם בַּחֹדֶשׁ הַשְּׁבִיעִי בֶּֽעָשׂוֹר לַחֹדֶשׁ תְּעַנּוּ אֶת־נַפְשֹֽׁתֵיכֶם וְכָל־מְלָאכָה לֹא תַעֲשׂוּ הָֽאֶזְרָח וְהַגֵּר הַגָּר בְּתוֹכְכֶֽם׃

Καὶ ἕαται τοῦτο ὑμῖν νόμιμον αἰώνιον· ἐν τῷ μηνὶ τῷ ἑβδόμῳ ταπεινώσατε τὰς ψυχὰς ὑμῶν καὶ πᾶν ἔργον οὐ ποιήσετε, ὁ αὐτόχθων καὶ ὁ προσήλυτος ὁ προσκείμενος ἐν ὑμῖν.

Eritque vobis hoc legitimum sempiternum: mense septimo, decima die mensis, affligetis animas vestras, nullumque opus facietis, sive indigena, sive advena qui peregrinatur inter vos.
Y esto tendréis por estatuto perpetuo: En el mes séptimo, á los diez del mes, afligiréis vuestras almas, y ninguna obra haréis, ni el natural ni el extranjero que peregrina entre vosotros:
This is to be a permanent statute for you: On the tenth day of the seventh month, you shall humble yourselves and not do any work —whether the native or the foreigner who resides among you —
