וַיִּשְׁלַח מֹשֶׁה לְרַגֵּל אֶת־יַעְזֵר וַֽיִּלְכְּדוּ בְּנֹתֶיהָ וַיּוֹרֶשׁ אֶת־הָאֱמֹרִי אֲשֶׁר־שָֽׁם׃

Misitque Moyses qui explorarent Jazer: cujus ceperunt viculos, et possederunt habitatores.
Y envió Moisés á reconocer á Jazer; y tomaron sus aldeas, y echaron al Amorrheo que estaba allí.
After Moses had sent spies to Jazer, Israel captured its villages and drove out the Amorites who were there.
