וְשָׁפְטוּ אֶת־הָעָם בְּכָל־עֵת אֶת־הַדָּבָר הַקָּשֶׁה יְבִיאוּן אֶל־מֹשֶׁה וְכָל־הַדָּבָר הַקָּטֹן יִשְׁפּוּטוּ הֵֽם׃

Qui judicabant plebem omni tempore: quidquid autem gravius erat, referebant ad eum, faciliora tantummodo judicantes.
Y juzgaban al pueblo en todo tiempo: el negocio arduo traíanlo á Moisés, y ellos juzgaban todo negocio pequeño.
And they judged the people at all times; they would bring the difficult cases to Moses, but any minor issue they would judge themselves.
