וְיָדַעְתָּ הַיּוֹם כִּי יְהוָה אֱלֹהֶיךָ הֽוּא־הָעֹבֵר לְפָנֶיךָ אֵשׁ אֹֽכְלָה הוּא יַשְׁמִידֵם וְהוּא יַכְנִיעֵם לְפָנֶיךָ וְהֽוֹרַשְׁתָּם וְהַֽאַבַדְתָּם מַהֵר כַּאֲשֶׁר דִּבֶּר יְהוָה לָֽךְ׃

Scies ergo hodie quod Dominus Deus tuus ipse transibit ante te, ignis devorans atque consumens, qui conterat eos, et deleat atque disperdat ante faciem tuam velociter, sicut locutus est tibi:
Sabe, pues, hoy que Jehová tu Dios es el que pasa delante de ti, fuego consumidor, que los destruirá y humillará delante de ti: y tú los echarás, y los destruirás luego, como Jehová te ha dicho.
But understand that today the LORD your God goes across ahead of you as a consuming fire; He will destroy them and subdue them before you. And you will drive them out and annihilate them swiftly, as the LORD has promised you.
