וּמִֽי־הָאִישׁ אֲשֶׁר־אֵרַשׂ אִשָּׁה וְלֹא לְקָחָהּ יֵלֵךְ וְיָשֹׁב לְבֵיתוֹ פֶּן־יָמוּת בַּמִּלְחָמָה וְאִישׁ אַחֵר יִקָּחֶֽנָּה׃

Quis est homo, qui despondit uxorem, et non accepit eam? vadat, et revertatur in domum suam, ne forte moriatur in bello, et alius homo accipiat eam.
¿ Y quién se ha desposado con mujer, y no la ha tomado? Vaya, y vuélvase á su casa, porque quizá no muera en la batalla, y algún otro la tome.
Has any man become pledged to a woman and not married her? Let him return home, or he may die in battle and another man marry her.”
